Cancellation of the 13th ACNS International Conference, Kazan
Dear colleagues,
Due to the COVID-19 global outbreak, and as a result of that a ban entry of
representatives from China, Iran, South Korea and a limited ban of representatives
from some other Asian countries to the Russian Federation, a decision was made to
cancel XIII ACNS Congress in May 21-24, 2020 and to postpone it till the
epidemiological situation improves.

Asian Congress of Neurological Surgeon (ACNS) Official Statement on the Current Situation in Myanmar
The following ACNS official statement was issued today by the Core Members of the ACNS.
The core members of the ACNS expressed their deep concern at the current state of emergency in Myanmar and the detention of the elected members of the Government since 1st February 2021.
The core members of the ACNS emphasized the need to ensure the safety of the civilians in Myanmar.
The core members of the ACNS urged the United Nations to act immediately against any acts of violence and to re-establish the fundamental freedoms and the rule of law in Myanmar.
The core members of the ACNS reaffirmed their strong commitment and support towards the medical fraternity and the Myanmar Neurosurgical Society in ensuring the well-being of the peoples in Myanmar.
